A Louisiana Justice of the Peace does NOT marry interracial couples.
"I’m not a racist. I just don’t believe in mixing the races that way," … Bardwell said he asks everyone who calls about marriage if they are a mixed race couple. If they are, he does not marry them, he said.
"There is a problem with both groups accepting a child from such a marriage," Bardwell said. "I think those children suffer and I won’t help put them through it."
This is crazy. People should marry whoever they want, and Government should just stay out of it.
The couple is suing, and rightfully so, but where will it go? Do we really need more laws telling us how to live our lives?
I say no.

We spend billions every year trying to breed the best genetic stock. People pay a fortune for a purebred race house or an American Kennel Club “best of bred” dog.
